Internet features

Here are some of the elementary Internet features that you can employ on your Internet pages. You may have seen the basic features on other pages, so let's look at the more interesting ones first:
Animation · Sound · Text · Images · Selectable images · Forms
Animation: can be used in a number of ways. It adds a dynamic to your page to attract interest and add an element of fun.
In a business context it can be used to help bring a diagram, flow model, or perhaps an electrical circuit to life.

Sound: adds another dimension to your site. Sound clips of various sorts can be used to support your text and graphics.
A short explanation, or kerumpphh, can give confidence or engage the user's attention. Select the note to hear a short sample.

Images: as you will have seen the use of images adds interest and colour to the page.
Such images can be photographs, computer drawings, line art, etc. and can be taken from existing artwork, in printed or electronic form.

Selectable Images: allow you to click on any, or a specific, part of an image to link elsewhere. Useful for: maps, site navigation...

Forms: offer the user the means to select options and send you information. The GMP contact page contains such a form.
